The Nephrology and Dialysis Department at Mother Hospital offers diagnosis, treatment and care for in and outpatients with kidney-related conditions. We see about 30 patients a month and are confronted with everything from acute kidney injuries to kidney stones to rare kidney disorders that can ultimately lead to chronic kidney failure.Our specialists work closely with colleagues from the Internal Medicine Department, surgery, ICU and the Radiology Department, as well as with social workers.This collaboration is based on mutual respect and understanding, with the ultimate aim of helping our patients and improving their quality of life.
The department is equipped to provide the full range of nephrology services including outpatient care and follow up of all kidney diseases.
Providing adequate and optimizing dialysis care to the long neglected section of End Stage Renal Disease patients is our priority.
